SNM – ‘House Of Dolls’ continues along the same vein as the 4iB Sutcliffe Jugend release ‘S L A V E S’ (2016), but this time stretches and builds the music like never before. Consisting of 10 tracks or ‘Scenes’ that build up, twist and turn, the carefully crafted soundscapes tell a story, without words but instead disturbingly created through complex sound textures. Calm yet haunting ambient drone serves as the basis of the ‘story’, which eventually arrive at an unsettling end of cacophonous noise layers.
